Velvety Chocolate Mousse

This. Mousse. Is. Amazing. It’s sweet, velvety smooth, dark in colour, and is essentially made from raw, healthy ingredients. On top of this, it is so easy breezy to make. I love the taste of cacao so I find that these measurements work superbly for producing a chocolaty mouse desert. The agave does wonders to sweeten up the mouse, and the cinnamon sprinkled on top makes this desert look so delicious and presentable. This recipe is a must for the next time you want to impress your guests.

Ingredients:

-2 large ripe avocadoes
-1 ripe banana
-1/4 cup raw cacao powder
-1 tsp. vanilla extract
-1 -2 tbsp. coconut milk (depending on power of blender)
-1 1/2 tbsp. agave nectar (and more for drizzling)
-Cinnamon for sprinkling

Directions:

1) Remove the skin and pit from the avocadoes and place the meat in a bowl. Add in a fresh banana, cut-up into coins.

2) Add in the raw cacao powder and vanilla extract and mash them into the avocado and banana.

3) Place the mashed mixture in a blender and add in the coconut milk and agave nectar. Blend until smooth.

4) Pour the blended mixture into a glass and if need be – place in the freezer for it to chill for about ten minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon. If the taste is not sweet enough for you, you can drizzle on some more agave nectar.

This recipe makes 3 small ice cream dishes worth of mousse.
